A NYC chef (Jonathan) founded MenuMavin after growing frustrated with the waste large-scale restaurant groups, caterers, and hotels were producing. Once he began looking at the myriad of issues surrounding food waste, he realized there was an opportunity to not only eliminate trash but also improve a multitude of other issues in the food industry. "Delivery" is the perfect opportunity to bring healthy meals and convenience together while reducing waste, but building menus, recipes, procedures, and systems specifically for delivery is critical.
Jonathan and Tim, an experienced software developer, partnered to create MenuMavin. MenuMavin aimed to revolutionize menu creation, food production, labor management, and consumer health. Jonathan decided to use his own restaurant and catering company as testing grounds.
Over the past several years, MenuMavin has grown both in customer base and in its software capabilities. While we aren't the biggest system in the market, we have fulfilled millions of meals in markets across the country, and we think that we do it the best, which is WHY we do it.
